May 30th was the TCIS Class of 2008 Graduation. The ceremony was held outside in the grassy area on the middle of campus. The weather was very iffy but after some light rain, we were able to continue outside without a problem. The ceremony was about an hour and a half with a fancy reception after. Since we are a private school and parents pay a lot of money for their kids to attend, each graduate gets their due time on stage. I'm glad there were only 85 students walking.

This was Jennifer's view of the stage when it was raining. Patrick walked in with the faculty in the processional.

Patrick with Julie Kim and her family. She is an amazing artist and is going to the Chicago Institute for the Arts in the fall. We bought a beautiful work of art from her. One day her art will be famous.

Jennifer Song is another
successful student from
TCIS. She is an
amateur golf player who played in the Women's US Open last year and received an award for scoring the lowest
amateur score of the tournament. She will be attending USC in the fall on a full golf scholarship. We will be cheering Jennifer on for many years to come.

Deep is one our favorite seniors. We have both enjoyed getting to know Deep and so has Zachary. He is from India and will be attending
McGill, the number one school in Canada, in the fall. He such a zest life and has such a heart for doing good in the world. We can't wait to see what he will accomplish.

Hannah is another talented
TCIS alumni. She will be attending NYU School of the Arts in the fall to study Theater/Drama. She is amazing to watch on stage. One day we will see her name in lights on Broadway.

Patrick has enjoyed getting to know the seniors this year as he taught all of them in senior Bible. They are a great group of kids and these are only a few representatives of their amazing talents. We can't wait to see what the Class of 2008 will accomplish in their lives.
Congratulations Class of 2008! You will be missed!
