The second week of our summer we traveled to San Luis Obispo, CA to visit Patrick's mother and step-father, Laurie and Jim Katekaru. Jim is a retired professor at the California Polytechnic State University. He took us up to campus to see the agricultural school's livestock. We got to see horses, sheep, pigs, and cows. Zachary was a little unsure of it all except for the sheep. They were the only animals he really liked. Shelby Grace, however, seems to be an animal lover. My favorite part of the trip was the surprise of Chic-fil-a on the Cal-Poly campus. Guess what we had for lunch that day AND the next?!
