Buddies

TCIS has changed a lot this year with a large influx of new staff. The ELC, where mommy works with staff kids 5 and under, has doubled in size. We've made lots of new friends this year but some of our best buddies are still around.

Zachary and Seth are inseparable. They are now in Pre-K and are the only staff kids in the class as well as native English speakers. They are quite a pair!

Shelby Grace's best bud is Sara. Even though Sara is older and has a new buddy to play with, Shelby Grace and Sara are quite a pair as well. I think it's more scary how much they are alike. These two independent determined little girls could cause some trouble together one day. Watch out world! Here they come!

Backyard Barbecue in the TCIS yard

A couple teachers at school organized a barbecue on the roof of their building for some TCIS friends. Well, too many teachers and their families wanted to come so the party got moved to school campus. It was so nice to get together with coworkers in a relaxed setting and enjoy being outside and eat some good food.

Zachary and Shelby Grace enjoyed playing with some new friends who have come to TCIS and the old timers as well. It was hot and muggy out but it was sure a fun night to hang out with friends after a long week at school.

First day of School

Today Zachary became an official student at TCIS. Though he has been part of the ELC for three years, he now embarks into his adventure of the International Baccalaurete curriculum and his school record in pre-k. Mommy had a hard time with Zachary officially going to school for the first time even with it just being next door and it's only half day with the other half being with mommy! My little boy is growing up too fast but I proud of him just the same!

Of course you have to head off to Pre-K with a Super Mario Brothers bookbag!

Shelby Grace really wants to join Pre-K too but gets to stay in the ELC with mommy. Of course she had to hold a lunch box too!

Our good friends Scottie and Christine from TCIS got married this summer and asked our kids to be the flower girl and ring bearer. We got to go to beautiful Boston where the wedding was on a boat. Our kids were adorable little sailors!
